Hull have beaten off competition from Cardiff and Leeds to keep Man Utd starlet Cameron Stewart on loan until the end of the season.
Stewart has made a decent impact since moving to the KC Stadium last month and has made three first-team appearances to date for the Tigers.
Nigel Pearson was anxious to hold on to the teenager, but was facing competition from two of the Tigers' Championship rivals.
However, Stewart is set to remain at the KC Stadium for the rest of the season and he admits he is enjoying the chance to play regular first-team football.
"I'd love to stay beyond January playing as much first-team football as I can," the 19-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, the Tigers have been given permission by Peterborough United to speak to Aaron Mclean, with a view to signing the 27-year-old striker in January.
