Blackpool defender Ian Evatt has Birmingham's unbeaten home record in his sights.
The Seasiders travel to the midlands on New Year's Eve with Chris Hughton's Blues yet to finish on the wrong end of a result in 10 npower Championship matches at St Andrew's this season.
However, Blackpool were the first side to take any points off leaders Southampton on their own patch in the current campaign thanks to a 2-2 draw earlier this month, something Evatt is quick to draw confidence from.
"This Blackpool team goes out to break records - we did it at Southampton and we've broken a few home records in the past," he told the club's official website. "Hopefully we can do the same at Birmingham."
Two days after the facing the Carling Cup holders, Blackpool host promotion-chasing Middlesbrough, and Evatt is fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead.
"It's a tough couple of days that can make or break," he added. "The lads are on a bit of a run at the moment though because we've only lost one of our last nine games. Hopefully we can continue that over the weekend."
