Bolton new boy Marvin Sordell has been passed fit to face Wigan while Tim Ream and Ryo Miyaichi are also in contention.

Sordell, who only arrived from Watford on deadline day in a £3million deal, took a knock to the head during a behind-closed doors friendly with Preston in midweek but has been passed fit to play.

The youngster returned to training today and along with fellow new signings Ream and Miyaichi, will be in the squad for the crucial encounter at the Reebo Stadium.

Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says the trio will all be available and for once he is facing a selection headache ahead of the clash.

"The three new lads will certainly be in the squad," he told the club's website. "Everything was sorted with Tim's passport and work permit on Monday so he is contention, and Ryo and Marvin have had a week to train with the rest of the lads.

"It's not always easy if you're a young player trying to intergrate into new surroundings but the lads have taken to them well."
