Arsenal's Jack Wilshere could be back in action within the next six weeks after making a speedy recovery from his ankle injury

The youngster has had a nightmare on the injury front and has yet to start a game for the Gunners this season but there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.

Wilshere has made a quicker than expected recovery from the stress fracture in his ankle that he picked up in training, and the Daily Mirror claim the youngster will be available within six weeks.

That would give the youngster a chance to prove his fitness ahead of Euro 2012 and could also give the Gunners a timely boost as they push for Champions League and FA Cup glory plus a place in the top four of the Premier League.

The midfielder is due to see a specialist and is keeping his fingers crossed they will give him the all clear to step up his rehab.
