Tony McCoy had his first experience of riding at Ffos Las, Britain's newest racetrack, on Thursday, and it was a positive one.
The champion jockey had nothing but good things to say about the dual-purpose venue which will open its doors to the public on June 18.
"It looks a very well-designed track," McCoy remarked.
"It is very similar to Newbury and will be a very good Flat and jumps track. I definitely plan to be there later this month for the first meeting."
McCoy was joined at the Welsh track by fellow jockeys, Mark Bradburne and Paddy Brennan.
The latter pair were also glowing in their praise for the facilities at Ffos Las.
"I was terribly impressed," Bradburne admitted. "Ffos Las deserves to be a success."
Brennan added: "I was so impressed that a new racecourse could be in such amazing condition. This is a real success story and I'd say the entries for the first meeting will be massive."
