Andy Lee knows that he still needs to make improvements despite beating Olegs Fedotovs on Saturday.
The Irish fighter made the most of his appearance on the Klitschko-Chagaev undercard as he floored his Latvian opponent.
It was the 18th win of his professional career, and one that showed the eager southpaw has been working hard in the gym since his last outing.
However, he was not totally satisfied with his performance and wants to make adjustments ahead of his next fight.
"Maybe I'm a bit too harsh on myself but I'm always trying to improve," said Lee.
"I felt I was a bit conserative on Saturday night and maybe I could have moved in for the kill sooner.
"I had to maintain a high level of concentration against him [Fedotovs] as he was hanging in there all the way through and he was very strong.
"I felt I wasn't at my best, but I wasn't at my worst either."
Lee did reveal that he hopes to compete in at least two more big fights by the end of the year with his next bout expected to take place in America.
"I hope to fight in the USA in August and, fingers crossed, I can then get back to Ireland for a fight before Christmas," stated the Limerick native.
