Cahill return to boost Toffees

by Admin , 12 March 2010

Everton are hoping to have the influential Tim Cahill back after a calf problem for Saturday's trip to Birmingham City.

The Australian has been struggling with the calf problem but boss David Moyes is confident Cahill can feature at St Andrew's - a ground the Merseysiders have not lost on since February 2004.

Leading scorer Louis Saha is still a doubt with hamstring and Achilles problems while Marouane Fellaini is out for the season and defender Tony Hibbert is still sidelined by injury as well.

Mikel Arteta, who scored twice in the 5-1 win over Hull last weekend, is set to continue his return to full fitness with another start in midfield as Everton hope for three points against their fellow Euro hopefuls.
