Everton striker Victor Anichebe has not given up hopes of playing his way into the Nigerian squad for the World Cup.
After a year out of the side because of a knee injury, the Nigerian striker has now returned to action and hopes impressive displays in Everton's run in will be push his name forward for the summer.
"It would be nice to go to the World Cup but I've been out for so long that I'm not even looking at that," said Anichebe.
"I'm just looking at playing games for now. I was out for so, so long. The World Cup would be hopeful but we'll have to see."
