Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu has signed a contract extension to keep him at Craven Cottage until 2014.
The Nigerian international, who joined from Sunderland in 2008, is playing the best football of his career at the moment and becoming a firm fan favourite at the club.
Etuhu was due to become a free agent at the end of the season and was reported to be a target for Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson following Javier Mascherano's departure.
But a statement issued by Fulham read: "We're delighted to confirm that Dickson Etuhu has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2014."
