Wales will play Costa Rica at the end of February in honour of late boss Gary Speed, it has been announced.
The former international midfielder is thought to have taken his own life on November 27, 2011 at the age of 42 having restored some pride to the Welsh side after his appointment a year earlier.
The Football Association of Wales has now confirmed the details of the Gary Speed Memorial match against the South Americans on February 29 at Cardiff City Stadium.
A statement read: "This will be an opportunity to celebrate the life and achievements of a great servant to Welsh football, both as a player and as a manager."
Speed made his Wales debut against Costa Rica in 1990.
