Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney says that he would be open to welcoming Cavan outcast Seanie Johnston into his panel.
Talented Cavan Gaels forward Johnston has been told that there is no place for him in the Breffni County football squad, and has publicy stated that he is willing to transfer to Kildare and try and get in their county team.
Armagh legend McGeeney, who has now overseen four years of progress in the Lilywhites hotseat, says that he runs an open door policy, and that if Johnston is willing to come on board then he will have a look at him.
"If he wants to play for Kildare, the same as anybody else wants to play for Kildare, I've an open door policy," McGeeney said on KFM.
"He can come here, turn up, play, train and I've never stopped anybody who's wanted to play for Kildare. He has indicated that he wants to and we'll take him in with open arms but he's going to have his work cut out.
“There are a lot of fellas there who want their place too and if Seanie steps in here he's going to have to put up like everybody else."
