France have included the uncapped duo of Yoann Maesti and Wesley Fofana in their squad for their Six Nations opener against Italy.
The two sides meet at the Stade De France on February 4 in a match that dawns a new era for both teams, as it will be their first games under new coaches Phillipe Saint-Andre and Jacques Brunel.
France coach Saint-Andre has included 17 players who were in the squad that reached the World Cup final in New Zealand.
Stade Francais' David Attoub has also been included, despite not being in the initial training squad, after Castres' prop Luc Ducalcon was ruled out due to his lack of match fitness.
The former Sale boss says it was imperative that he replaced Ducalcon as he believes it is impossible to beat Italy without a fully-fit scrum.
"He (Ducalcon) has only played 25 minutes with his club. We wanted to include Attoub, who is a regular starter with Stade Francais as a tighthead prop" he said.
"And we know the Italians' scrum is very good".
