Jones called up by Wales

Stephen Jones has been called up to the Wales RBS Six Nations training camp in Poland.

Jones' international career looked to be over when he was omitted from Warren Gatland's original 35-man squad for the week-long intensive training in Gdansk.

However, the 104-times Jones will join up with the rest of the squad on Friday to provide extra cover in the fly-half position following James Hook's departure back to France where he is needed by his club Perpignan.

Wales have a number of injury worries ahead of the Six Nations opener against Ireland with prop Gethin Jenkins ruled out of the Aviva Stadium tie on Sunday week.

Fly-half Rhys Priestland (knee) and Dan Lydiate (ankle) are also major doubts for the game, while Jamie Roberts is making steady progress in his recovery from a knee injury.
