Andy Flower has indicated there could be changes to England's batting line-up for the third and final Test against Pakistan.
Having got themselves to top spot in the Test rankings, England have suffered a humiliating series defeat - losing the first match by 10 wickets and then being bowled out for just 72 in the second innings of the second Test defeat.
Most of the pundits have pointed the figure of blame towards the England batting line-up, which has struggled against the strong spin-bowling unit of the home side.
Even though some people believe the batsmen, who played a large part in lifting England to number one in the world, should be given the chance to turn their fortunes around, Flower is not scared of making changes.
The team director stated: "We expect to learn and learn quickly - and that is a big part of our job, of my job. We need our batsmen to learn - very obviously."
Flower added: "Continuity of selection has been part of our strength, but very obviously we have to pick players who are most adept at dealing with these conditions."
Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq believes his side deserve plenty of credit following their series win over England.
He said: "I think the whole world should acknowledge and accept that Pakistan cricket is coming up, the way our players are performing and they should accept it. Such (negative) things can happen anywhere and we must forget them.
"We have put everything behind us. I think whichever team is doing well it should be accepted, our team deserves that and with the self-confidence we have, we can do better."
