Roberto Martinez has hinted that Hugo Rodallega could leave Wigan before the transfer window closes.
Martinez is determined to keep the likes of Victor Moses and James McCarthy at the club but he could be ready to cash in on Rodallega who will fall out of contract in the summer.
The striker looks unwilling to pen a new deal and Martinez could be tempted to cash in if the price is right, with Queens Park Rangers known to be keen.
"When you get into a position when your contract is short-term with the club it is a completely different situation," Martinez revealed. "We are in a position where no-one is bigger than the football club.
"Whatever could happen over the next 48 hours will be in the best interest of Wigan.
"Every individual situation is going to be down to that measurement."
