Fulham boss Martin Jol has snapped up Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak from from German side Stuttgart on a permanent deal.
The Russian international had fallen out of favour at Stuttgart and has now sealed an exit to Fulham.
It is thought the Cottagers have paid around £3million to secure the 28-year-old's signature.
Striker Bobby Zamora is set to leave for Fulham for Premier League rivals QPR before the window slams shut, and boss Jol has acted fast to bring in Pogrebnyak as a replacement.
