Novak Djokovic believes he has a chance of winning all four Grand Slam titles if he can maintain his incredible current form.
The 24-year-old claimed his third Australian Open title and fifth Grand Slam with victory over Rafael Nadal in the early hours of Monday morning at Melbourne Park.
It was an incredible match lasting nearly six hours and confirmed the Serbian star's status as the best player in the world.
Djokovic's latest victory means he has now won three consecutive Grand Slams and four out of the last five, with a semi-final defeat to Roger Federer preventing him from having another shot at glory at Roland Garros last year.
Many pundits believed it would be impossible for the Monte Carlo resident to maintain the form he showed in 2011 but he has started the year in perfect fashion and will now concentrate his efforts on winning the one major that has alluded him to date in Paris.
It was felt that he might struggle to reach the same standards on clay and would have the threat of Rafael Nadal to deal with but he showed last year that he knows how to win and to beat the Spaniard on the slower courts.
And with that in mind, Djokovic feels that he is now equipped to challenge for glory at all the big events in 2012.
"The way I'm playing right now I think I have a game that is good enough to win the titles on all surfaces," he said. "I have proven that, even last year, winning back-to-back Madrid and Rome - it was an incredible effort and gives me a lot of confidence and self-belief coming to the clay courts now."
