Striker Nikica Jelavic is set for a move south of the border, after Rangers accepted a bid from Everton for their top-scorer.
The 26-year-old Croatian, who they signed from Rapid Vienna for £4million in August 2010, is now expected to travel to Merseyside to discuss personal terms and pass a medical with the Premier League club.
The fee is said to be around the £8million valuation Rangers were asking for, with Everton supposedly clinching the deal by being able to pay £5million up-front after selling Diniyar Bilyaletdinov to Spartak Moscow for the same amount.
The Ibrox club did not want to lose the 17-goal striker, but with the Gers suffering financial difficulties, the offer was too good to turn down.
