Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted he will not be tempted to rush Jack Wilshere back following his recent injury set-back.
The England international has not kicked a ball in the Premier League this season, having picked up an ankle injury before the start of the current campaign.
Wilshere suffered an injury set-back earlier this week when the club confirmed the player has sustained a stress fracture in his right foot on Wednesday.
Arsenal have denied speculation the 20-year-old will definitely be out for the rest of the season but Wenger is adamant he will not rush the playmaker back to soon.
"I always said February, [so] it is frustrating, but then again you have to respect human nature," Wenger said.
"What is most important is that for such a young player you have to respect his future."
