Roberts expecting strong Scottish effort

Wales centre Jamie Roberts feels Scotland could be a real threat in Sunday's Six Nations clash after their narrow defeat to England.

Andy Robinson will take his men to the Millennium Stadium this weekend for the second match of the tournament still smarting after the 13-6 defeat to the 2003 World Cup winners.

The Scots put in a much-improved performance to their below-par showings at the World Cup and lost out to a Charlie Hodgson try from a charged-down kick.

The Welsh still have a Grand Slam in their sights after taking care of Ireland 23-21 in Dublin in a pulsating match at the Aviva Stadium.

The men in red have been tipped to win the lot this season but Roberts is taking nothing for granted and has warned his team-mates to expect a Scottish backlash.

"We will definitely face a wounded animal in Scotland," he said. "They deserved to beat England and they will be coming to the Millennium Stadium looking to exact revenge."
