Andy Robinson has made four changes to the Scotland team for the RBS Six Nations match against France on Sunday.
With Alasdair Strokosch ruled out of the tournament with a fractured hand Robinson has been forced to name John Barclay at blindside for the visit of Les Bleus.
Max Evans unavailability due to an ankle injury has resulted in Rory Lamont moving from full-back to the right wing, while Sean Lamont moves from inside to outside centre, where he will be partnered by Graeme Morrison.
Mike Blair has been called into the side and he will start at scrum-half with Stuart Hogg making his first Test start at full-back. Greig Laidlaw will join Blair at half-back.
Ross Ford will once again captain the side and he will take his place in the front row alongside Allan Jacobsen and Geoff Cross. Richie Gray and Jim Hamilton start in the second row, while Barclay joins Ross Rennie and David Denton in the back row.
"Graeme Morrison has worked hard back at Glasgow and captained the team in their games against Scarlets and Connacht. He is a good ball-carrier and has something to prove on his return to the Scotland team," Robinson said.
"Stuart Hogg did well off the bench in Cardiff, stood out in the A team victory over England Saxons and has been one of Glasgow's most consistent performers this season. He fully deserves his first start."
