Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor is hopeful he will win his battle to be fit in time for the massive showdown this weekend.
Tottenham travel to arch rivals Arsenal on Sunday knowing that the Gunners will be going all out to put a block on their chase for the Premier League title so they will need all their stars fit and ready to go.
The on loan Manchester City star has picked up a knee problem which makes his inclusion in the clash against his former club a doubt but he is now hopeful of making the trip, even though he knows it will be a tough encounter personally as he is hate figure at Arsenal following his controversial exit back in 2009.
"Really happy with the progress," Adebayor wrote on Twitter. "Knee is looking much better. Working on my fitness for Sunday."
Boss Harry Redknapp will be desperate for him to be fit as he has netted 10 goals this season and his power would be a real handful for Arsenal's lighweight defence.
