Anthony Kim will return to action at next week's World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.
Kim has not play on the PGA Tour since finishing tied for seventh at the Quail Hollow Championship. He revealed shortly after the event that he had undergone surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.
His rehabilitation has taken slightly longer than expected but he started hitting balls again in early July and he has now confirmed that he will return to action on Thursday week.
"I will be back next week at the WGC...looking forward to (being) back," Kim wrote on his Facebook page.
Despite missing over three months, Kim remains at number four in the US Ryder Cup standings.
