Dann not drawn on transfer claims

Scott Dann has refused to be drawn into a debate about his future despite ongoing speculation linking him to a Premiership club.

The Blues defender's impressive displays last season has drawn the attention from a range of top flight sides, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all reportedly trying to sign him.

But although he makes no secret of his desire to play in the top flight again, he shied away from any transfer talk.

"Obviously I'm an ambitious person and I want to play at the top level," Dann told Sky Sports News. "But I don't really want to comment on speculation.

"Obviously players have moved on and I'm still here. Until anything happens otherwise I'm still a Birmingham player. I can't say much more really."From a personal point of view I've just been concentrating on getting myself fit. I've done that, I'm back and ready to go now and just looking forward to the season."
