Holloway rages at 'closed shop' talk

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has slammed the idea of ending relegation from the Premier League.

Holloway is seeking a return to the top flight after leading the Seasiders there last season before they were relegated back to the npower Championship.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "If they have their own blooming way, some of them, we will never get back in because they want to make it a closed shop. How wrong is that?

"What a stinking bunch of elitists. Good old Fergie (Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United manager) said 'Get lost' and quite right.

"We went up to the Premier League with the worst budget of any team that has got there.

"I am going to try to do that miracle.  did it once and I'm going to have another go, and for someone to say we can't is absolutely ridiculous and so wrong it's untrue."
