Forrest slams exit talk

James Forrest has scotched reports linking him with a move to Tottenham by insisting he is happy to stay put at Celtic.

The highly-rated winger has attracted the attentions of Spurs boss Harry Redknapp with reports claiming that he could be ready to make the Hoops an offer during this current transfer window.

However, Forrest is ignoring such talk and is adamant that he is fully focused on helping to bring silverware to Parkhead this season.

He said: "It is obviously good to hear, but it doesn't bother me. The main thing is I want to keep playing well with Celtic.

"I am not thinking about it. We've still got the second half of the season to go with Celtic.

"It is still early doors right now and all we need to do is hopefully keep our good run going and keep winning games.

"As long as I'm doing well and the team's doing well, I am happy."
