Celtic were never troubled as they beat Hearts 4-0 in the Scottish Premier League at Tynecastle on Wednesday night.
Hearts almost took an early lead when Irish striker Stephen Elliott's header appeared to cross the Celtic line, before it was cleared by Joe Ledley.
Not a minute later, though, the Bhoys were ahead when skipper Scott Brown drove the ball past Jamie McDonald.
By the 20th minute, Celtic were 2-0 up.
A corner from Charlie Mulgrew found James Forrest, and the young winger managed to pick out Victor Wanyama for an instinctive finish.
A weak effort from Elliott followed before Celtic made sure of the points. Good work by Georgios Samaras on the left led to a cross on to the head of Ledley, who found an empty net for 3-0.
Wanyama almost made it 4-0 but flashed his volley wide, but Celtic had their fourth on the hour mark when the young midfielder's header was saved and Gary Hooper snapped up the rebound.
As a result of the win, Celtic stretched their lead over Rangers at the top of the SPL to four points.
