Same again for France

by Setanta Staff , 14 February 2012

France have named an unchanged 23-man squad for their upcoming clash with Scotland at Murrayfield on February 26.

Les Blues were set to play Ireland at the Stade de France on Sunday but saw the game called off at the 11th hour due to a frozen pitch.

However, they will go with the same group of players who were set to face the men in green when they travel north of the border.

Scrum-half Julien Dupuy had replaced the injured Dimitri Yachvili in the starting XV, and he will keep his place in the side for the clash with the Scots.

The encounter with the Irish looks likely to be rescheduled for the first weekend in March and Six Nations officials will release the new date as soon as possible.

France are among the favourites for this season's competition after the way that they finally found their form when it mattered in the World Cup final to push New Zealand all the way, and they opened their campaign with a comfortable victory over Italy.

The Ireland match was tipped by many as one of the biggest tests for Philippe Saint-Andre's side but they will have to get past the Scots first before taking on the might of Ireland.
