Seanie Furlong scored 1-5 as Wicklow beat Fermanagh 2-16 to 1-11 to claim the AFL Division 4 title at Croke Park.
Fermanagh suffered their first league defeat of the season as they succumbed to two first half goals from Harry Murphy's side who took the game to their Ulster counterparts from the off and can now look forward to life in Dision 3 next season.
Furlong and corner back Ciaran Hyland netted for Wicklow inside the opening 20 minutes to give the Leinster men a healthy advantage, but Eoin Donnelly pulled one back for Fermanagh to reduce the deficit to 2-08 to 1-09 at the break.
James Stafford and Rory Finn were hugely influential in midfield for the Garden County and scored five points between them.
That was as good as it got for Peter Canavan's men who flagged badly after the break, and Wicklow cruised to an easy eight point victory in the end.
