After the success of last year's event, Setanta Africa is pleased to bring you live and exclusive coverage of the 2011 Copa del Sol this month starting on the 27th January. In total we will bring you 16 games concluding with the final on the 7th February.
There will be plenty of African talent on show including Dame N'Doye (FC Copenhagen), Anthony Annan (Rosenborg), Daniel Chima (Molde), Baye Djiby Fall (Molde), Fegor Ogunde (Valeranga), Serge Branco (Wisla Krakow) plus many more.
This year's competiton has been expanded to 16 teams with the teams divided into 4 groups. Each team will play one game in the group stage with the winner of that game qualifying for the Qtr Finals. The groups and fixtures are as follows;
Group A - FC Copenhagen (Denmark), Valeranga (Norway), Alesund (Norway), Wisla Krakow (Poland)
Group B - Tromso (Norway), IFK Gothenburg (Sweden), Molde (Norway), FC Karpaty Lviv (Ukraine)
Group C - Rosenborg (Norway), Malmo FF (Sweden), Spartak Moscow (Russia), Rapid Bucharest (Romania)
Group D - Nordsjaelland (Denmark), FC Sportul (Romania), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), FC Victoria Plzen (Czech Republic)
