Swansea defender Alan Tate is hoping to be back fit and available by March as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.
The 29-year-old has been on the sidelines since August after picking up the injury in a freak golf buggy accident but he is making good progress and hopes to be back fit for the last couple of months of the season.
Tate was on the bench during the FA Cup fourth round defeat at Bolton, while he has also played a number of games for the reserves in a bid to step up his return to full fitness.
The defender is still short of the fitness required to play Premier League football but is hoping to be up to speed by March.
"It's got to be 100% for me to push for the first-team and I'm not quite there at the minute," he told walesonline. "I've got through a few 90 minutes with the reserves, but I wasn't sailing through it and feeling ready. I was struggling.
"After the reserve game against Arsenal I knew everything wasn't right and it was a case of the manager pulling me in and telling me he wants me up to scratch.
"I've got this month to get ready and then hopefully I'll come back for the last two months of the season."
