Former Norwich star Dion Dublin believes Paul Lambert deserves nothing but praise for bringing the feelgood factor back to Carrow Road.
The Canaries have made massive strides since the former Scotland international took over from Bryan Gunn when the club was stuck in League One.
Since then, Lambert has led City to back-to-back promotion and now his team are well on course to secure their place in the Premier League for at least another season.
Lambert's men are currently eighth in the table and only eight points short of a Champions League spot after a remarkable return to the top-flight.
Dublin has been amazed by the way the City boss has changed the fortunes of his former club and believes it is no less than the Canaries deserve.
"I suppose I am surprised at their league position but not their overall performances," he told the Press Association.
"Paul Lambert has given them so much self-belief. He doesn't get over excited at anything.
"
He remains calm and the players feed off that.
They have taken on board his ideas and everyone has pulled in the same direction.
Norwich don't have a Wayne Rooney or a Didier Drogba, who can come up with a moment of world-class skill to win a game.
"They all have to work hard and follow a game plan. They started to win games and from that confidence has increased. It is a fantastic club and deserves to be in the Premier League. People don't think of it as a soccer hotbed but the supporters are as intense and passionate as they are at any of the big clubs."
