Cameron Jerome says Stoke have nothing to lose and will go for the win when they take on Valencia in the Mestalla on Thursday night.
The Potters trail 1-0 from the first leg at the Britannia Stadium and will have to pull off one of the shocks of the competition if they are to go through to the last 16.
Nobody is giving Tony Pulis' men a chance and Jerome says that will play right into Stoke's hands as they bid to pull off an upset against the La Liga outfit.
The first goal is going to be crucial and if the Potters can get it then it will be game on.
"It is going to be incredibly difficult over there, we know that," he told the club's website. "But if we go there with the right mindset then we are capable of getting ourselves back in the tie.
"They are big favourites now of course but in football anything can happen. All we need is a goal and then the whole complexion of the match changes.
"We will go there knowing we have to win, so we will have to go at them."
