Josh McEachran has told Swansea his best is yet to come and he will shine for the club once he is used to regular football.
Swansea beat off competition from a host of rival clubs to land the Chelsea midfielder on loan for the rest of the season and he made his debut in the defeat to Norwich.
The 18-year-old was disappointed with his display against the Canaries but put it down to a lack of regular first-team football and says he will get better with more games.
The midfielder will get another chance against Stoke this weekend and is looking forward to showing the Swansea fans what he can do.
"It's good to get my first start in the league, now hopefully I can go on," he told walesonline. "Norwich was only my second 90 minutes in two or three months.
"It was hard to get into it because my fitness is not 100 per cent but I thought I did okay. The training intensity is really good at Swansea so I hope to get fit through that, then in a few more matches I'll be up to speed."
