Everton are said to be closing in on a swoop for Swedish teenager Johan Hammar and could wrap up a deal this week.
The defender has impressed while on trial at Goodison Park and boss David Moyes is now keen to secure the services of the player, who is currently on Malmo's books.
A fee has been agreed with the Swedish club and the 18-year-old is set to jet over to England with his agent Martin Klette before penning a contract at Goodison Park.
"Hopefully, everything is sorted now," Klette said of the situation. "The plan is Johan will play for the club's Under-18 team and it's likely he'll move in the summer."
