West Ham midfielder Scott Parker has given Gianfranco Zola his backing and says the entire squad is behind him.
The defeat at home to Bolton a week ago followed by the 4-1 beating at Chelsea has left the Hammers again looking over their shoulders as the season reaches a climax but Parker maintains the manager has the full support of the players and the fans.
"I know everyone says nice men don't make good managers but everybody in that changing room would back him (Zola) to the hilt," said the Hammers skipper.
"He's got Steve Clarke alongside him and they work well together.
"Gianfranco has that tough side.
"When you are so passionate about football, as he is, whether you are a nice guy or not, that passionate side is going to come out."
