Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes Steven Gerrard will face no further FA action over an incident with Michael Brown on Monday night.
The England midfielder appeared to catch Brown with his elbow when running past the Pompey player in the second half of the 4-1 win on Monday, referee Stuart Attwell took no action at the time and it now remains to be seen if it is included in his report.
If Attwell says he has not seen the incident clearly then Gerrard may well face an FA charge but Benitez believes all will be okay, when asked if Gerrard could face any retrospective action, he said: "I don't think so.
"
I haven't seen it but I was asking and I think it was nothing."
Opposite number Avram Grant also did not see the incident but said: ""Personally, I like Steven Gerrard. I think he is a good player and a fair player."
