Liverpool will hand a late fitness test to midfielder Alberto Aquilani ahead of Sunday's showdown against Manchester United.
The Italian international was a surprise absentee from the side that beat Lille 3-0 on Thursday night and it was later revealed that the player had been struck down by a sickness bug.
The midfielder will be assessed ahead of the game but even if he is passed fit he may have to settle for a place on the bench at Old Trafford with Lucas and Javier Mascherano continuing in midfield.
Maxi Rodriguez is back available again and returns to the squad having been ineligible for the Europa League.
Martin Skrtel (foot) and Fabio Aurelio (thigh) are Rafa Benitez's only injury absentees.
