Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has reassured fans he plans to continue to put money into the club.
The Irish businessman has seen his overseas property company suffer because of the recession and there have been reports that MacAnthony could cut back on the money he is putting into Peterborough.
However, MacAnthony has said he hopes he can continue his investment in the club and is prepared to give manager Gary Johnson anything he needs to win League One next season.
"I'm not going to lie, my own business has struggled badly over the last three years," said MacAnthony.
"But I've been prudent with my own money and will continue to put money into the football club.
"
I've told Gary that I will invest whatever it takes to win League One and I've always backed my managers.
"Even in the Championship this season I've spent £2m in transfer fees and £220,000 on loan signings in January."
