Hibernian boss John Hughes is set to be without four players for the derby clash with Hearts as he anxiously awaits news from the SFA.
Sol Bamba starts a three-match ban when Rangers visit Easter Road on Sunday and of course will miss the capital crunch clash next Saturday but three other players could yet be made unavailable.
Ian Murray, Kevin McBride and Darren McCormack were all cautioned in the 3-2 defeat at Celtic Park last weekend and now Hughes awaits confirmation of the penalties as the trio have now gone through the disciplinary points limit.
Coupled with the fact that skipper Chris Hogg has a back problem and Hibs have selection troubles when they take on the Jambos.
Hughes said: "I'm not 100 per cent sure as yet as to the position, we'll have to wait until the SFA confirm things. But if that is the case there's nothing we can do about it and they'll be sorely missed.
"
It's disappointing, you talk to the players and emphasise the point in terms of bookings, tell them to watch what they are doing, but they are out there competing, looking to win their tackles."
