Aberdeen and Hearts are rumoured to be interested in picking up St Mirren striker Billy Mehmet on a free transfer in the summer
The ex-West Ham trainee is out of contract at the end of the season and was linked with a move away from St Mirren Park in the January transfer window, when it was claimed that several Turkish clubs were interested.
Mehmet, 26, is a popular figure with Buddies fans, having hit double figures in his last two seasons.
