Kevin Kyle's agent, Raymond Sparkes, has revealed that Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has contacted him about a move in the summer.
Striker Kyle is currently at Kilmarnock and has bagged 17 goals in 44 appearances since his move to Rugby Park in January 2009, as he continues to try and help Killie avoid the drop.
However, he is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a whole host of suitors, with reports claiming at least eight other clubs are interested in a move.
Sparkes has confirmed that McGhee has voiced his interest in the player but as yet has not offered ca contract.
"Aberdeen are one of the clubs I have talked to about Kevin Kyle," Sparkes told the Aberdeen Evening Express.
"I have discussed the situation with Mark McGhee, although Aberdeen have not gone so far as to offer a contract."
