Burnley are understood to have made a £1.5million bid for Hearts winger Andrew Driver, but the offer is expected to be rejected.
The Clarets have made no secret of the fact that they want to bolster their squad this summer, with Driver on their list of potential close season targets.
The England Under-21 international has caught the eye of several clubs south of the border but Hearts are believed to want at least £2.5million before they would consider selling the 22-year-old.
The winger, who progressed through the youth ranks at Tynecastle, is contracted until 2013 but has indicated in the past that he would like to try his luck in England.
