Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta claims rumours linking Manchester United with goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon are unfounded.
Current United number one Edwin van der Sar is believed to be considering hanging up his gloves at the end of the current season, meaning Sir Alex Ferguson could have to search for a new keeper in the summer.
United currently have Tomasz Kuszczak on their books as Van der Sar's understudy but Ferguson is believed to be looking for a more experienced number one.
Speculation has suggested United are interested in signing Italy's number one Buffon but Marotta has rubbished the rumours, stating the 32-year-old is going nowhere.
"I deny any negotiation with United, Buffon is a Juventus player," Marotta told the Tuttosport newspaper.
