Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is the latest name to be added to the West Ham United wanted list after the Blues were relegated on Sunday.
Birmingham face an equally troubling future as West Ham, possibly even worse if reports are to be believed, after their drop from the Premier League on Sunday and McLeish's own future looks uncertain.
West Ham owners David Sullivan and David Gold are looking for a quick appointment so the new man in charge can start building for next season as soon as possible.
Now McLeish's name has been added to a growing list of candidates which also includes the recently sacked Carlo Ancelotti from Chelsea.
And, while the Scot has pledged to see out the remainder of his contract at St Andrews, it is not known if the club's owner Carson Yeung and the board want to take a new direction and make a change which would see him then become available.
