Leicester goalkeeper Adam Smith is having a trial at Lincoln.
Smith has been training with the Conference club ahead of a proposed loan move to Sincil Bank when the January transfer window opens next week.
The academy product is highly rated at Leicester and signed a three-year deal with the Foxes in March having impressed then-manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Smith was on loan at Chesterfield earlier this season but did not make a first-team appearance for the League One club.
