James Morrison is looking for a good run in the FA Cup this season as he believes it could change West Brom's home fortunes.
The 25-year-old Scotland international midfielder was a big part of the Baggies' Championship side which made it all the way to the semi-finals of the competition in 2008 before being defeated at Wembley by then Premier League outfit Portsmouth, who went on to lift the trophy.
And, ahead of this weekend's visit of Premier League rivals Norwich to the Hawthorns, Morrison is hoping they can avenge their recent 2-1 home defeat in the league and use the FA Cup to finally get their home form back on track.
"I have been part of a cup run before with West Brom and it was a great time," Morrison told the club's website.
"We got to play at the new Wembley and it was something for the fans to talk about.
"The history of the FA Cup means a lot to the fans and, as a player, you want to win trophies, so a lot of players should be up for the cup."
He added: "A cup tie can always change the fortunes of a season.
"If you're on a bad run and you win a cup game, it can change things - and a win on Saturday might change our home form."
