Tim Ream's transfer to Bolton Wanderers should be tied up by the end of the week.
The 24-year-old New York Red Bulls defender has already agreed terms with Wanderers and yesterday headed to London with Owen Coyle for a work permit hearing.
That apparently went well and it's now thought that all the loose ends of the deal should be sorted in time for Ream to be available for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Swansea.
Ream is seen as a direct replacement for Gary Cahill, who left the club for Chelsea last week in a deal thought to be worth around £7million.
