Paul Lambert would love to guide Norwich City to an FA Cup run this season but insists that Premier League survival is his priority.
The Canaries chief watched his side secure a 2-1 win at West Brom on Saturday to book a place in the fifth round of the competition where they will now host Leicester, who saw off Swindon 2-0, at Carrow Road on either February 18 or 19.
It leaves Norwich three games from a Wembley final in the FA Cup and Lambert insists it would be great for the club if they made it that far.
But with some important Premier League games coming up this week - at Sunderland on Wednesday before a visit from Bolton on Saturday - his main focus is to keep adding points on the board to reach safety as quickly as possible.
Lambert told the Pink 'un: "It would be great if we could stay in the Premier League. That answers it.
"I am delighted to get through and pleased not to have a replay. I didn't want to go to that as I said in the build up because it is another game.
"I can understand people wanting to stay in the Premier League first and foremost for the simple reason that it is the greatest league. That is not to undermine the FA Cup at all.
"If you asking me which I prefer, then the Premier League status is absolutely vital for this football club. This was a really tough place to go, but we came up trumps.
"The lads are buoyant but win, lose or draw you let it go and look at the next game. We have a really tough one on Wednesday night but we'll go up there in great form and with great momentum and do everything we can to win."
