Ally McCoist says he will not be quitting as Rangers manager despite not receiving any financial backing on transfer deadline day.
The current financial situation at Ibrox means McCoist's hands are tied when it comes to bringing in any fresh faces, failing to replace Nikica Jelavic as he left for Everton on deadline day.
Having lost the club's top goalscorer McCoist left Ibrox on transfer deadline day looking down hearted, sparking rumours he could quit the club as they plunge further into financial difficulties.
However, McCoist has rubbished reports he is thinking about quitting and says the idea of walking away has never crossed his mind.
"There must have been 500 snaps of me leaving Ibrox and about 10 snaps with my face tripping me," said McCoist.
"My face wasn't tripping me. I can assure supporters I wasn't storming out. I'm as committed to doing this job as I've ever been."
